Fumulus, The Infestation - Does This Bug You? by ElBarto84

Format: Commander

Commander: Fumulus, the Infestation

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This is a Mono-Black aristocrats deck led by Fumulus, the Infestation, a four-mana flying deathtouch Insect that creates a 1/1 flying Insect whenever any player sacrifices a nontoken creature and drains the defending player whenever an Insect, Leech, Slug, or Worm attacks. The list forces those sacrifices with a deep edict suite - Fleshbag Marauder, Accursed Marauder, Grave Pact, Dictate of Erebos - and cashes them in through Blood Artist, Zulaport Cutthroat, Bastion of Remembrance, and Ayara, First of Locthwain. A hidden combo lives in the ninety-nine: Ozox, the Clattering King loops with Warren Soultrader or an altar plus Pitiless Plunderer for infinite deaths. Failing that, flying Insects and finishers like Blasphemous Edict and Season of Loss close the game. Fumulus is an excellent token payoff, not a required engine.
