Deck overview

This mono-black cEDH deck leverages Sephiroth, Fabled SOLDIER at the helm of a brutal Aristocrats Stax and Combo shell. The deck is engineered to accelerate ahead of the table using premier fast mana like Chrome Mox, Mox Diamond, Mana Vault, and Dark Ritual. Early turns focus on deploying asymmetric stax pieces such as Null Rod, Opposition Agent, and Dauthi Voidwalker to choke opposing development, while a relentless suite of sacrifice edicts strips opposing boards. The primary win condition is a compact 3-piece combo featuring Warren Soultrader and Forsaken Miner alongside Sephiroth. By sacrificing Miner to create a Treasure, Sephiroth drains an opponent for 1 life, committing a crime that allows Miner to recur for {B}, creating an infinite life-drain loop that eliminates all opponents on the spot.
