Deck overview

Gwafa Hazid is a UW azorius control shell: the commander taxes and bribes blockers while the deck stalls combat with Ghostly Prison/Propaganda/tax creatures. The primary plan is to assemble an infinite untap/mana loop-usually Isochron Scepter with Dramatic Reversal-and convert it into a library-draw kill with Jace, Wielder of Mysteries or Triskaidekaphile. Secondary paths use Freed from the Real with Vizier of Tumbling Sands/Kelpie Guide for infinite mana, or simply grind card advantage and win via Triskaidekaphile. Gwafa is more deterrent than engine; his bribery counters disable attackers and trade for cards. The deck does not need its commander to function.
