Format: Commander

Commander: Kagha, Shadow Archdruid

Bracket: 2

Deck overview

Kagha, Shadow Archdruid leads a Golgari self-mill value deck that wins by converting the graveyard into an unstoppable swarm of big green creatures. The primary plan is to mill cards through Kagha's attack trigger and self-mill spells, then use her once-per-turn allowance to cast a land or permanent from the graveyard. Secondary paths include classic reanimation with Living Death and Rise from the Grave, token generation via Shadowbeast Sighting and Spider Spawning, and a minor elf subtheme that pumps attacks. The commander is the engine; without her the deck still grinds value but much slower. The hidden commander is effectively the graveyard itself, as the deck's entire game plan revolves around stocking and exploiting it.
