Pokemon 1. Gen by SchwarzerAdler

Format: Commander

Commander: Kenrith, the Returned King

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Kenrith, the Returned King leads a five-color creature toolbox that wins through a pod-style chain into Craterhoof Behemoth or through Kenrith's activated abilities. The deck ramps with fetchlands, duals, Birds of Paradise, and Sol Ring, then uses Birthing Pod, Prime Speaker Vannifar, Vivien on the Hunt, and Birthing Ritual to convert small creatures into larger threats. Secondary paths include landfall token generation with Nesting Dragon and Moraug, plus reanimation of value dragons like Kokusho and Yosei. Kenrith provides card draw, lifegain, haste, and recursion, making him a flexible engine. The deck is built to use Kenrith's activated abilities as a mana sink and recursion engine, not as a dedicated combo commander.
