Deck overview

This deck is a high-power Boros aggressive combo engine configured to close games through explosive extra combat phases and lethal damage multiplication. Helmed by Gisela, Blade of Goldnight, the list features dense format-tier fast mana such as Sol Ring, Mana Vault, and Chrome Mox to accelerate past early-game development constraints. Its primary win condition pairs Helm of the Host with extra-combat creatures like Combat Celebrant or Aurelia, the Warleader, creating infinite hasty token copies and unlimited combat steps to eliminate all three opponents in a single turn. Tutoring is streamlined through dedicated equipment and low-power creature search cards, while proactive stax like Drannith Magistrate and Stranglehold derail opposing strategies. A robust protection suite headlined by Grand Abolisher, Silence, and Deflecting Swat reliably locks out interaction on critical turns, allowing the deck to execute either its infinite combat combo or massive damage-doubled swings with minimal vulnerability.
