Deck overview

This Gruul deck uses Jolene, the Plunder Queen to generate an overwhelming volume of Treasure tokens. By accelerating early with low-cost ramp pieces like Sol Ring and Talisman of Impulse, the deck casts Jolene ahead of curve and doubles the output of all Treasure generation. The influx of artifact mana fuels card advantage engines like Professional Face-Breaker and Academy Manufactor, allowing the deck to dig for game-ending payoffs. Threat onset occurs on Turn 5 with high-impact closers such as Hellkite Tyrant, Goldspan Dragon, and Aggravated Assault, or explosive burn spells like Crackle with Power. While vulnerable to mass artifact removal and lacking deep stack-based countermagic, the deck leverages redundant token doublers and high mana velocity to recover rapidly and close games across two combat cycles.
