This deck executes a dedicated aristocrats and toolbox strategy powered by 29 copies of Shadowborn Apostle with Shirei, Shizo's Caretaker as commander. In the opening turns, the deck deploys Apostles to establish board presence. Once Shirei enters the battlefield, sacrificing six Apostles for a single black mana cheats massive Demons directly from the library into play. Because Shirei triggers on any creature with power 1 or less, all six Apostles return to the battlefield at the beginning of each player's end step.
