Deck overview

This Sultai graveyard-landfall deck utilizes Teval, the Balanced Scale as an engine to ramp lands from the graveyard, generate Zombie tokens, and fuel powerful recursion lines. The strategy develops mana rapidly through efficient ramp spells and self-mill pieces like Grisly Salvage, Hedron Crab, and Ripples of Undeath. Once Teval, the Balanced Scale begins attacking on Turn 4, each combat mills cards, accelerates land drops, and builds a wide board. The deck transitions into the late game by leveraging massive card-advantage engines such as Aesi, Tyrant of Gyre Strait, The Gitrog Monster, and Muldrotha, the Gravetide. To close the game around Turn 6, the deck resolves Living Death after tutoring targets with Lotuslight Dancers, deploying Craterhoof Behemoth for an immediate lethal combat step, or sacrificing Lord of Extinction to Jarad, Golgari Lich Lord to drain the entire table in a single turn.
