Deck overview

This deck is a Gruul big-mana stompy build built around an extreme 68-land foundation. By restricting the 99 to 31 high-impact nonlands, every Discover and Cascade trigger skips past dozens of basic lands directly into powerful engines, ramp pieces, and massive beaters. The commander, Ashaya's Enduring Bond, acts as a repeatable Discover outlet when paired with cheap legendary creatures like Rograkh, Son of Rohgahh or Ruby, Daring Tracker. The game plan focuses on making a land drop every turn without fail, accelerating into mana doublers like Mana Reflection and Nyxbloom Ancient, and flooding the battlefield with token armies via Rampaging Baloths and Scute Swarm. Heavy cascade bombs like Apex Devastator and Hit the Mother Lode chain multiple spells for free, while Primal Surge flips nearly the entire deck onto the table. The list trades interaction and protection for absolute mana consistency and high-density late-game board presence.
