Deck overview

This deck is a high-synergy Mono-Black Aristocrats combo build commanded by Ayara, First of Locthwain. It focuses on turning recurring black creatures and token generators into consistent life drain, card advantage, and lethal combo loops. Early turns are dedicated to establishing resilient recursive fodder such as Gravecrawler, Bloodsoaked Champion, and Forsaken Miner, complemented by efficient low-CMC ramp. On Turn 3, Ayara enters to provide immediate pressure and card draw. The primary win condition revolves around combining Ayara or Blood Artist with Warren Soultrader and Gravecrawler to drain all opponents simultaneously at instant speed on Turn 4. Alternative win lines include resolving Plague of Vermin for a lethal one-turn table drain, or cloning Gray Merchant of Asphodel with Saw in Half. The deck boasts substantial functional redundancy, strong creature attrition engines, and high engine resilience, balanced by limited stack protection and reliance on graveyard access.
