Deck overview

This deck is a casual Jund combat deck led by Mr. Orfeo, the Boulder, focusing on deploying aggressive mid-sized creatures and doubling their power during combat to deal large chunks of single-target damage. The early game relies on basic land drops and low-cost ramp like Llanowar Elves and Vine Trellis to establish mana colors. By Turn 4 or 5, the deck deploys Mr. Orfeo, the Boulder alongside efficient attackers like Crew Captain, Stampede Rider, or Wildvine Pummeler. Combat buffs such as Rancor, Run Amok, and Briar Shield combine with Orfeo’s attack trigger to push high-power trampling attacks into opponents one by one. However, the deck operates with minimal card advantage and low tutoring redundancy, relying primarily on top-decked draws to sustain pressure. Because damage is dealt exclusively through single-target combat without extra combat steps, closing the table requires multiple turn rotations, leaving the board exposed to sweepers and targeted removal.
