Slugs by apricotpi

Format: Commander

Commander: Toxrill, the Corrosive

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Toxrill, the Corrosive leads a Dimir control and attrition deck that dominates the battlefield by suffocating opposing creatures under slime and -1/-1 counters. The deck accelerates into Toxrill or complementary control engines like Maha, Its Feathers Night, transforming enemy boards into 1/1 Slugs while drawing cards. Once the board is locked down, victory is secured through overwhelming slug combat damage, aristocrat drain from Blood Artist and The Meathook Massacre, or the infinite death loop of Blowfly Infestation with Nest of Scarabs. Clones like Spark Double and Sakashima of a Thousand Faces rapidly accelerate counter accumulation to eliminate all opposing threats.
