Deck overview

This deck is a casual Rakdos battlecruiser build designed to win through commander damage using Smaug the Impenetrable. The deck focuses on hitting land drops to hardcast its 7-mana commander, which enters with flying, indestructible, and haste. Once in play, Smaug swings for 8 commander damage per turn, creating a three-hit elimination clock against individual opponents. Supporting cards like Blood Mist accelerate this damage output. The deck includes thematic Rakdos removal spells, Treasure generation, and Goblin Army amass mechanics. However, the list suffers from low mana acceleration, minimal card draw engines, and virtually no tutoring. Because it eliminates opponents sequentially through combat, the deck gives opponents multiple turn cycles to find non-destructive removal such as exile, bounce, or sacrifice effects.
