Deck overview

This Sultai deck is helmed by Teval, the Balanced Scale and focuses on self-mill, land recursion, and token generation. Early turns establish mana acceleration using Farseek, Sakura-Tribe Elder, and Cultivate while loading the graveyard with cards like Grisly Salvage and Stitcher's Supplier. Once Teval attacks, it generates incremental card advantage by pulling milled lands directly onto the battlefield and producing 2/2 Zombie Druid tokens whenever cards leave the graveyard. In the mid-to-late game, the deck leverages recursion engines like Muldrotha, the Gravetide, Meren of Clan Nel Toth, and Conduit of Worlds to grind out opponents. The primary path to victory is resolving a mass reanimation spell like Living Death to return massive threats such as Lord of Extinction, Avenger of Zendikar, and Wonder, closing out the game with lethal flying combat damage or direct life loss via Jarad, Golgari Lich Lord.
