Deck overview

This deck is a classic Mono-Green Stompy strategy centered on Ghalta, Primal Hunger. It leverages hyper-efficient, high-power low-drop creatures such as Pugnacious Hammerskull, Steel Leaf Champion, and Tangleweave Armor to rapidly amass 10 to 12 power on the battlefield. By Turn 4, the deck reliably casts its 12/12 trampling commander for just {G}{G}. This massive board presence immediately triggers power-based draw engines like Elemental Bond, Garruk's Uprising, and Rishkar's Expertise, refilling the hand with additional threats and protection spells. While the deck lacks direct creature tutors and stack interaction, it compensates through high functional redundancy, dense acceleration, and crushing combat finishers such as Overwhelming Stampede and Unnatural Growth. Opponents must continuously answer early oversized bodies or face rapid elimination from lethal trample combat damage by Turn 6.
