Deck overview

This deck is a Rakdos spellslinger burn strategy commanded by Kuja, Genome Sorcerer. The game plan revolves around generating a swarm of Wizard tokens that ping each opponent whenever a noncreature spell is cast. Once four Wizards are assembled, Kuja transforms into Trance Kuja, Fate Defied, doubling all Wizard damage. On Turn 6, the deck chains cheap noncreature spells, rituals, and burn spells to inflict massive table-wide damage in a single explosive turn. Supporting amplifiers like Tor Wauki the Younger, City on Fire, and Artist's Talent bolster noncommander lines, while redundancy in creatures like Guttersnipe and Coruscation Mage ensures damage output remains high. The deck runs a deep suite of instant-speed removal to disrupt opposing threats while fueling its own spell count. However, it lacks stack protection and stax denial, relying on speed and critical burst turns to eliminate the table before opponents can stabilize.
