Format: Commander

Commander: Yoshimaru, Ever Faithful and Reyhan, Last of the Abzan

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This Abzan +1/+1 counter deck pairs Yoshimaru, who grows with every legendary permanent, with Reyhan, who saves counters when a creature dies. The main plan is to flood the board with legendary permanents and counter doublers, then swing for Commander damage with an oversized Yoshimaru or an Overwhelming Stampede. Secondary paths use token producers and legendary draw engines to grind through board wipes. The deck is built around the Yoshimaru/Reyhan partner pair rather than a double-faced commander; Reyhan provides resilience and insurance, while Yoshimaru is the fastest clock and the face the deck is built to use.
