Deck overview

This Grixis midrange deck harnesses Sauron, the Dark Lord to generate relentless board presence, sift through cards, and build an unstoppable combat force. Sauron creates Orc Armies whenever opponents cast spells and discards your hand to draw four fresh cards whenever the Ring tempts you. The deck pairs this engine with nine copies of Nazgul, which scale rapidly each time the Ring tempts you. Powerful reanimation spells return game-ending threats like Razaketh, the Foulblooded and Archfiend of Ifnir from the graveyard. You close out games by granting your army flying and haste with Wonder and Anger, overwhelming the table through massive combat swings or mass reanimation.
