Deck overview

This is a mono-black aristocrats build helmed by Sephiroth, Fabled SOLDIER whose transformation trigger, "fourth time this ability has resolved this turn," demands a highly dense sacrifice engine. The deck generates a constant stream of creature deaths through free sacrifice outlets (Viscera Seer, Warren Soultrader), token generators (Bitterblossom, Blight Mound, Infestation Sage), and edict effects (Fleshbag Marauder, Accursed Marauder). Its primary win condition is incremental life drain from Blood Artist, Zulaport Cutthroat, and Syr Konrad, the Grim, combined with mass recursion spells like Awakening Hall (from Funeral Room) and Lich-Knights' Conquest to reset the death loop. The Masamune doubles Sephiroth's death trigger, accelerating the transformation. The deck has no infinite combos, grinding value through death triggers and relying on Gray Merchant of Asphodel or Ad Nauseam + Bolas's Citadel for explosive turns.
