Deck overview

This Boros control deck centers on Lorehold, the Historian, using its commander to grant every instant and sorcery in hand miracle for two mana. By triggering a discard-and-draw rummage on each opponent's upkeep, the deck converts regular draws into instant-speed miracle triggers on other players' turns. Top-deck sculptors such as Library of Leng, Penance, Scroll Rack, and Sensei's Divining Top allow the pilot to place high-impact spells onto the library at will. Once the engine is online around Turn 5, the deck transitions into critical onset on Turn 6 by cheating expensive sorceries like Approach of the Second Sun, Storm Herd, and Rise of the Eldrazi for just two mana. A robust Sunforger package and efficient redirect spells protect the commander and disrupt opponents. The deck closes games within one response cycle through an overwhelming flying pegasus swarm or a fast Approach reload.
