Deck overview

This Sultai deck is led by Maralen, Fae Ascendant, uniting the Elf and Faerie creature types into a synergistic typal midrange and theft engine. Early turns focus on accelerating mana via low-cost mana dorks and establishing persistent token generators such as Bitterblossom and Bitterbloom Bearer. Once Maralen enters on Turn 4, every Elf and Faerie entry exiles cards from opposing libraries and enables casting a free spell each turn based on your creature count. The deck converts this steady resource advantage into decisive combat pressure around Turn 6 using high-impact typal finishers like Shadow Puppeteers to transform evasive tokens into 4/4 Dragons or Notorious Throng to double the board and take an extra turn. Interaction is robust, featuring versatile removal, stack control via Glen Elendra Archmage and Glen Elendra's Answer, and flash-speed protective creatures like Selfless Safewright that guard the swarm from board wipes.
