Deck overview

This deck is a Gruul Dragon Tribal aggro build led by Atarka, World Render. Its strategy revolves around ramping through the early turns using mana rocks, land ramp, and specialized Dragon cost-reducers such as Dragonspeaker Shaman. Once sufficient mana is established on Turn 5, the deck deploys massive flying threats and casts Atarka on Turn 6. Atarka's ability grants all attacking Dragons double strike, transforming 4/4 and 5/5 fliers into lethal double-digit damage dealers. Card flow is maintained through power-based draw triggers like Garruk's Uprising and Elemental Bond. The deck excels at applying aerial pressure and eliminating opponents in chunks. However, its high average mana curve, lack of specific card tutors, and minimal protection against board wipes leave it vulnerable to well-timed sweepers and instant-speed interaction.
