Deck overview

This Savra, Queen of the Golgari deck is a dedicated Golgari Aristocrats and stax-attrition strategy that converts creature sacrifice into total board dominance and life drain. Built around a dense web of sacrificial fodder, free sacrifice outlets, and lethal death-trigger payoffs, the deck systematically suffocates opposing creature-based game plans. Utilizing Grave Pact effects alongside Savra, every token sacrificed forces opponents to sacrifice their own boards while keeping your life total high and opposing life totals dwindling through Zulaport Cutthroat, Dina, and The Meathook Massacre. Mana velocity is fueled by aristocrat engines like Warren Soultrader, Priest of Forgotten Gods, and Ashnod's Altar rather than fast artifact mana. While susceptible to graveyard hate and mass exile sweepers, the list features resilient reanimation packages through Meren of Clan Nel Toth and Victimize, ensuring that dismantled engines are quickly reconstructed to close out games through inevitable drain and Mazirek-boosted overruns.
