Ral, Monsoon Mage's front face is the deck's real engine: a 2-mana discount on instants and sorceries that lets cheap cantrips cost 0 and storm payoffs cost almost nothing. The back face, Ral, Leyline Prodigy, is a bonus that flips after several spells and offers extra cost reduction, removal, and card draw. The primary kill is to resolve Thousand-Year Storm and Bonus Round, then cast Boltwave after six prior spells so the copies deal 42 to each opponent. Backup lines use Underworld Breach with Storm-Kiln Artist to recur Brain Freeze and mill all libraries, or grind with Guttersnipe/Fiery Inscription. There is no hidden commander.
