Elves and faeries by jlacy757

Format: Commander

Commander: Maralen, Fae Ascendant

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Maralen, Fae Ascendant leads a Sultai Elf kindred strategy that blends rapid mana generation with opponent card theft. The game plan opens with classic Elf accelerators like Llanowar Elves and Priest of Titania to deploy Maralen ahead of curve. Each subsequent Elf or Faerie trigger exiles opponent spells and casts them for free based on your board presence. The deck closes games through go-wide combat damage, utilizing tribal anthems like Banner of Kinship, mass pump from Trystan's Command, and recursive token generation via Voice of the Woods and Elfsworn Giant. Graveyard synergy and light countermagic secure your board against opposing interaction.
