Deck overview

This Jeskai deck is a synergistic spellslinger and combo build centered around Gandalf, Party Guest and a supporting cast of legendary Wizards. The primary strategy uses Gandalf's combat ability to cheat the mana costs of powerful instant and sorcery spells, rapidly generating card advantage and mana advantage. The deck transitions into a decisive win through compact two-card combos, primarily Niv-Mizzet, Parun paired with Curiosity or Ophidian Eye, which draws the library and burns down all three opponents in a single turn. Strong secondary win conditions include Hullbreaker Horror bounce loops and high-velocity burn engines like Vivi Ornitier and Fiery Inscription. Robust card draw from staples such as Rhystic Study and Archmage Emeritus keeps the deck fueled, while silence effects and counterspells protect game-winning turns.
