Deck overview

This is a midrange Abzan life-gain and +1/+1 counter deck. Felothar, Dawn of the Abzan acts as a repeatable board pump, converting sacrifices into counters. The primary plan is to generate life from every creature entering and then use engines like Archangel of Thune, Heliod, Sun-Crowned, and Haliya to turn that life into counters and draws. Secondary wins come from infinite loops: Heliod with Walking Ballista, Archangel or Heliod with Spike Feeder plus a drain creature (Dina, Vito, Cliffhaven Vampire), and Scurry Oak with Rosie Cotton or Ivy Lane Denizen. The commander is a finisher/enabler rather than a strict requirement; multiple independent engines and a few tutors let the deck pivot between combat and combo.
