Deck overview

This Orzhov deck leverages Killian, Decisive Mentor as an aggressive Aura Voltron and tempo commander. By attaching low-cost Auras to Killian or backup engines like Light-Paws, Emperor's Voice and Kor Spiritdancer, the deck rapidly builds an evasive, resilient threat. Each enchantment entry triggers Killian to tap and goad opposing creatures, clearing blockers and forcing opponents to attack each other while drawing cards on your attack steps. Robust cost-reduction and enchantress engines maintain high mana velocity and card flow. A layered defensive suite featuring Drannith Magistrate, Blind Obedience, Ghostly Prison, and Sphere of Safety slows enemy development and prevents retaliatory swings. High-density protection Auras like Benevolent Blessing and Shielded by Faith keep the primary attacker safe from removal, while mass reanimation spells like Retether and Eiganjo Dynastorian // Replenish provide resilience against board wipes.
