Deck overview

This deck is an aggressive Jund Treasure-midrange strategy led by Ognis, the Dragon's Lash. It converts fast, low-curve haste creatures into an accelerating stockpile of tapped Treasure tokens. The primary game plan establishes early board presence on Turns 1 to 3 with aggressive creatures like Goldhound, Phoenix Chick, and Rabbit Battery, deploying Ognis, the Dragon's Lash on Turn 4 to attack immediately and generate multiple Treasures. By Turn 6, these accumulated resources power out decisive win conditions, including alternate victory through Revel in Riches, massive mana amplification with Old Gnawbone, extra combats via Karlach, Fury of Avernus or Full Throttle, and burn damage from Ingenious Artillerist. While the deck features high redundancy in haste threats and resilient mid-game beatdown, it carries significant vulnerabilities: high tapland friction slows its initial curve, while minimal instant-speed interaction and absence of protective spells leave key creatures and Treasure stockpiles exposed to opposing removal.
