Deck overview

This mono-black deck is built around Shredder, Shadow Master, using its unique attack trigger to pressure the entire table simultaneously. When Shredder attacks, it creates nonlegendary token copies attacking every other opponent, dealing substantial combat damage and halving each defending player's life total upon connecting. The temporary tokens sacrifice themselves at end of combat, triggering aristocrat engines like Bastion of Remembrance, Zulaport Cutthroat, and Grave Pact. Complementing this aggressive clock is a disruptive control shell featuring Contamination, Toxic Deluge, and Sheoldred, the Apocalypse to suppress opposing boards. While the deck lacks countermagic and artifact removal, its ability to cut all three life totals in half repeatedly makes it an overwhelming combat threat.
