Smaug by Rojalion

Format: Commander

Commander: Smaug the Impenetrable

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Built around Smaug the Impenetrable, this Rakdos deck uses noncombat damage to create Treasures, turning the commander into a mana engine and the battlefield into a burn outlet. Magda, Brazen Outlaw is the hidden commander, tutoring Dragons and artifacts while the treasure payoffs such as Mayhem Devil drain opponents. The primary plan is to cast Smaug, ping it with Pyrohemia or Pestilence, and loop Treasures while killing the table. Secondary lines use Dockside Extortionist, Xorn, and Magda to burst-mana into big Dragons and finish with haste attacks or Chandra's Ignition. Underworld Breach and reanimation effects recycle key pieces if the loop or a Dragon is answered.
