Deck overview

Helmed by Thranduil, the Elvenking, this is a Sultai Elf combo deck that treats the graveyard as a second hand. Thranduil's activated-ability copy effect turns every Elf in the yard - Priest of Titania, Selvala, Heart of the Wilds, Jarad, Golgari Lich Lord, Lathril, Blade of the Elves - into his own abilities, while his legendary-Elf ETB trigger draws two cards for each additional legendary Elf. The primary plan is classic elfball: accelerate with one- and two-mana dorks, stock the graveyard with Buried Alive, Lively Dirge, and mill effects, then convert large mana through Umbral Mantle or Staff of Domination into a table kill via Jarad's sacrifice drain or Lathril's tap-ten activation. A secondary combat axis with Coat of Arms, Elvish Champion, and Elf tokens closes out games when the combo is disrupted. This is a high-tutor, high-recursion midrange combo deck with genuine inevitability.
