Deck overview

Jace, Multiverse Architect helms a five-color control deck that combines a dedicated Superfriends strategy with a potent Polymorph engine. The primary game plan utilizes dense two-mana artifact ramp to deploy Jace by Turn 4 or 5, immediately activating his −3 loyalty ability to transform disposable tokens or low-impact permanents into game-ending creatures and planeswalkers such as Archon of Cruelty, Archfiend of Despair, and Nicol Bolas, Dragon-God. Supporting this plan is a robust suite of asymmetric sweepers like Sunfall and The Eternal Wanderer, which clear opposing boards while preserving loyalty engines. Additional proactive elements like Blind Obedience and Narset, Parter of Veils suppress enemy aggression and card draw, giving Jace the breathing room needed to dominate the table. While vulnerable to early spot removal targeting polymorph fodder, the deck possesses immense late-game inevitability through cascading planeswalker ultimates and overwhelming evasive combat damage.
