Deck overview

This deck is a 4-color (WUBR) Token Polymorph build commanded by Jace, Multiverse Architect. The entire 99 is constructed without low-CMC creature spells; instead, early board presence is established entirely through noncreature token generators such as Skrelv's Hive, Dreadhorde Invasion, Staff of the Storyteller, and creature lands. Accelerated by an extensive suite of 2-CMC signets and talismans, the deck deploys Jace on Turn 4 and immediately activates his −3 loyalty ability targeting a token. Because every creature in the deck is a devastating 6–10 CMC bomb—such as Archon of Cruelty, Serra's Emissary, Archfiend of Despair, Avacyn, Angel of Horror, and Memnarch, the Warden—every polymorph trigger hits format-warping power. Redundant cheat outlets like Proteus Staff, Synthetic Destiny, and Mass Polymorph deploy multiple threats simultaneously, while sweepers like Sunfall and White Sun's Twilight clear opposing boards while generating fresh tokens to fuel subsequent polymorph activations.
