Smog by snakey2346

Format: Commander

Commander: Smaug the Magnificent

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This mono-red deck builds Treasures and uses Smaug the Magnificent as a repeatable burn engine. Smaug creates a Treasure each upkeep and deals damage equal to your Treasures when he attacks, so every Treasure directly increases his output. The deck surrounds him with 17 Treasure makers, doublers like Goldspan Dragon and Solphim, Mayhem Dominus, and five extra-combat sources to trigger Smaug multiple times per turn. Secondary paths use Dragon and Dwarf payoffs, impulse draw, and large bursts like Brass's Bounty to keep pressure without Smaug. It wins through sequential combat and stacked Smaug triggers rather than infinite combos, grinding value until extra combats close the table.
