Deck overview

Dark Leo & Shredder helms an aggressive Orzhov Ninja deck focused on evasion, combat damage triggers, and sudden life-halving swings. By deploying unblockable 1-drops early, the deck enables cheap Sneak casts and guarantees early combat triggers for its commander. Dark Leo grants attacking Ninjas deathtouch, discouraging blocks and steadily assembling a wide token board. Once the critical mass of five Ninjas is reached on Turn 5, Dark Leo slices opponent life totals in half with each strike, synergizing heavily with life-loss multipliers like Bloodletter of Aclazotz and Shredder, Shadow Master. While the deck excels at explosive life total reduction and favorable combat trades, it relies heavily on keeping a creature board intact and features limited countermagic against fast spell combos.
