CZ 757 | Thranduil, the Elvenking by user2778736

Format: Commander

Commander: Thranduil, the Elvenking

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Thranduil is a graveyard-toolbox commander: the deck self-mills aggressively, then uses him as an activated-ability hub. The primary plan is to bin the right Elf abilities-Priest of Titania for mana, Jarad for sacrifice-drain, Tyvar for an overrun, Lathril for tokens-and assemble a large Abomination of Llanowar; Thranduil then sacrifices it to Jarad's ability to drain all opponents. Secondary paths are Lathril token swarm plus Ezuri counters and combat beatdown with Tyvar's pump. Momir Vig, Fauna Shaman, and Vannifar are the search engine. The hidden commander is Jarad, because Thranduil becomes a reliable Jarad once the Lich Lord is in the graveyard.
