Deck overview

This deck is a mono-red Dragon tribal midrange strategy built around Lathliss, Dragon Queen. The primary plan accelerates into Lathliss by Turn 5 using cost reducers such as Dragonspeaker Shaman and mana rocks like Dragon's Hoard. Once Lathliss is on the battlefield, casting subsequent Dragons floods the board with 5/5 flying tokens. Synergies like Dragon Tempest and Scourge of Valkas convert these entries into immediate board damage, while Terror of Mount Velus and Utvara Hellkite double combat pressure. The deck applies overwhelming aerial damage by Turn 6 and closes games by Turn 8. While resilient in creature combat and rich in creature sweepers like Blasphemous Act, the deck is soft to instant-speed spot removal, countermagic, and enchantment-based threats.
