Deck overview

This deck is an artifact combo-control strategy led by Urza, Lord High Artificer. Urza functions simultaneously as an explosive mana engine, a board presence generator, and an infinite mana outlet in the command zone. The primary game plan focuses on assembling the infinite untap loop of Isochron Scepter imprinting Dramatic Reversal. With Urza and nonland artifacts producing mana, this generates infinite mana to exile the library via Urza's ability and win on the spot using Walking Ballista. The deck supports this line with dense artifact and spell tutoring, robust card advantage from Rhystic Study, Mystic Remora, and Mystic Forge, and backup combos like Basalt Monolith with Rings of Brighthearth. A lean suite of efficient counterspells and asymmetric stax pieces protects the combo while disrupting opposing plans.
