Deck overview

This deck is an aggressive mono-green stompy strategy designed to exploit extreme mana efficiency through power-based cost reduction. Commanded by Ghalta, Primal Hunger, the plan accelerates early mana on Turn 1 with 1-drop dorks before deploying efficient beaters such as Steel Leaf Champion and Rhonas the Indomitable on Turns 2 and 3. Reaching 10 total power on board reduces Ghalta's casting cost to just two green mana as early as Turn 4. The deck converts immense creature power into substantial card replenishment through engines like Garruk's Uprising, Elemental Bond, and Rishkar's Expertise. Lethal damage is delivered through massive trampling combat steps enhanced by Overwhelming Stampede, Unnatural Growth, and Surrak and Goreclaw. While highly redundant in creature threats and rebuild capacity, the list lacks stack-based countermagic and relies on timing and selective protection spells to survive mass board wipes.
