Deck overview

This deck is an explosive Izzet spellslinger deck commanded by Eris, Roar of the Storm. It leverages a diverse spread of instant and sorcery mana values to cast its 10-mana commander for as little as two mana. By cycling high-cost spells like Boon of the Wish-Giver and Lórien Revealed on early turns, the deck fills the graveyard rapidly without expending tempo. Once Eris enters the battlefield, every turn where two spells are cast produces a 4/4 flying Dragon Elemental with prowess. The deck exploits Eris's printed 10 mana value to draw massive grips of cards through Traverse Eternity and Imposing Grandeur, quickly finding combat finishers like Surge to Victory, Isengard Unleashed, and Dragon Tempest. It combines high spell velocity with an overwhelming aerial clock to eliminate opponents in rapid succession.
