Y'shtola - Scions & Spell craft - Upgraded by user8532871

Format: Commander

Commander: Y'shtola, Night's Blessed

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Y'shtola, Night's Blessed is the engine of a control-drain build. The deck wants to resolve several noncreature spells with mana value 3 or greater each turn, turning each one into 2 damage to every opponent and 2 life, while Wizard tokens created by Transpose, Circle of Power, and Cornered by Black Mages add an extra point per token. Alphinaud Leveilleur fetches Alisaie Leveilleur, creating a hidden partner pair that discounts and rewards the second spell each turn. Teferi, Time Raveler, Grand Abolisher, and free interaction protect the finishing chain, and Bolas's Citadel can turn accumulated life into a burst of spells or a final sacrifice. There are no two-card combos; the deck wins through attrition and a critical mass of drain.
