LotR Hobbit - Dwarf Dragon Treasure #3 by tomtom4711

Format: Commander

Commander: Thorin, King of Durin's Folk

Bracket: 2

Deck overview

Thorin, King of Durin's Folk leads a Boros Dwarf/Equipment deck that turns Dwarf enters and combat damage into Treasure tokens, then uses artifact-token count as a global pump. The primary plan is a wide Dwarf combat finish; secondary paths are Equipment voltron and the Hellkite Tyrant artifact win. The commander is the central token engine and anthem, so the deck is moderately dependent on it. There is no hidden commander or double-faced commander. Gandalf the White, Xorn, and Academy Manufactor multiply Treasure production, while Magda tutors the alternate win. Games usually end through War of the Last Alliance double-strike turns, extra combat, or 20 artifacts.
