Deck overview

This deck is an Izzet spellslinger and storm deck centered on Ovika, Enigma Goliath. The primary game plan accelerates mana through artifacts and rituals to deploy Ovika on turn 5. Once on the battlefield, every noncreature spell produces hasty 1/1 Phyrexian Goblin tokens equal to its mana value. The deck uses cheap cantrips, rituals, and Skullclamp to chain multiple spells in a single turn, generating dozens of tokens. These hasty tokens immediately close out the game through combat damage buffed by Balmor, Battlemage Captain or City on Fire, exponential growth from Devilish Valet, or direct damage through Goblin Bombardment and Kyren Negotiations. The list includes a strong counterspell suite to protect Ovika and disrupt opponents. While highly explosive, the deck relies heavily on its 7-mana commander and can slow down if Ovika is removed repeatedly before token engines take off.
