Lady Octopus, She who tentacles by user8369216

Format: Commander

Commander: Lady Octopus, Inspired Inventor

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This deck is a mono-blue artifact value engine helmed by Lady Octopus, Inspired Inventor. The primary game plan is to accumulate ingenuity counters on the commander by drawing cards (first and second draw each turn), then tap her to cast high-impact artifact spells from hand for free. The deck leans heavily on a dense draw suite (Brainstorm, Preordain, Thirst for Knowledge, etc.) and a suite of cost reducers (Etherium Sculptor, Shuri, Sapphire Medallion) to reach critical mass. Win conditions include combat with massive artifact creatures (Blightsteel Colossus, Darksteel Colossus, Krang, Utrom Warlord) often equipped with Grafted Exoskeleton for infect, or the pinging reach of Psychosis Crawler. The deck also has the potential for artifact-based combos using Krark-Clan Ironworks and Scrap Trawler, though it primarily wins through overwhelming board presence.
