Format: Commander

Commander: Mirko, Obsessive Theorist

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This is a Dimir surveil-reanimator midrange deck helmed by Mirko, Obsessive Theorist. The plan is to cast Mirko early, then surveil relentlessly to grow him with +1/+1 counters while stocking the graveyard with high-impact creatures. Once Mirko's power exceeds a target's power, his end-step trigger reanimates that creature with a finality counter. The deck leans on surveil payoffs (Matoya, Archon Elder, Enhanced Surveillance, Disinformation Campaign), self-mill tutors (Vile Entomber, Corpse Connoisseur), and graveyard cast/copy outlets (Eye of Duskmantle, Lazav, the Multifarious, Body Double, Likeness Looter). Primary wins come from combat with reanimated beaters and encore/unearth waves; the late-game closer is Rise of the Dark Realms. There are no infinite combo lines-this is deliberate value reanimation suited to a Bracket 2 table.
