Deck overview

This deck is a Boros Voltron and Dwarf tribal deck led by Bruenor Battlehammer. The strategy revolves around deploying cost-efficient Equipment and cheating heavy equip costs with Bruenor's free equip ability, Forge Anew, and Hammer of Nazahn. Massive power boosts from cards like Colossus Hammer and Bearded Axe turn Bruenor and other legendary Dwarves into lethal threats that eliminate opponents in one or two hits, especially when paired with double strike from Reyav, Master Smith or Blacksmith's Talent. The mana base is supported by standard 2-CMC mana rocks and Treasure creation from Dwarves like Magda, Brazen Outlaw and Gimli of the Glittering Caves. The deck features solid single-target removal and board wipes like Blasphemous Act and Divine Reckoning that leave the primary Voltron creature intact, while Mantle of the Ancients provides powerful graveyard recovery.
