Deck overview

This Edgar Markov deck is an aggressive, high-synergy Mardu Vampire Aristocrats strategy. It leverages Edgar's Eminence ability to generate a free 1/1 Vampire token whenever any Vampire spell is cast, creating a wide board presence with zero additional mana investment. The deck converts these tokens into card advantage, mana velocity, and life drain using engines such as Skullclamp, Yawgmoth, Thran Physician, Phyrexian Altar, and Blood Artist. The primary win condition combines aggressive combat damage buffed by Cordial Vampire and Sanctum Seeker with sudden, lethal burn from sacrifice outlets like Goblin Bombardment and Bartolomé del Presidio. Additionally, the deck packs compact infinite drain combos involving Vito, Thorn of the Dusk Rose paired with Exquisite Blood or Bloodthirsty Conqueror. While the list lacks stack countermagic and dedicated anti-sweeper protection spells, its sheer redundancy and Eminence engine ensure rapid recovery.
