Commander: Doctor Doom

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This is a mono-black artifact-sacrifice combo deck built around Doctor Doom. The commander's ETB produces two artifact Doombot tokens and his end-step trigger turns life into card advantage, while the 99 is a dense shell of artifact creatures, token generators, drain outlets, and two overlapping sacrifice engines in Ashnod's Altar and Krark-Clan Ironworks. The primary path to victory is the Nim Deathmantle + Wurmcoil Engine loop: sacrificing Wurmcoil and its tokens generates infinite mana and death triggers, drained through Blood Artist, Zulaport Cutthroat, or Marionette Master. Fallback wins come from Aetherflux Reservoir, enormous Their Number Is Legion token storms, and Gray Merchant of Asphodel devotion. The deck grinds value with recursion from Scrap Trawler, Myr Retriever, and The Soul Stone until it finds the loop.
